Access alert: Two Open Access e-journals from UCL Institute of Education Press
Portico now hosts the content from Race Equality Teaching and International Journal on School Disaffection, previously published by UCL Institute of Education Press. These titles are no longer available through the press or another online platform; therefore, they have “triggered” and are freely available to the community via the Portico archive. These titles were originally published as Open Access, and will remain Open Access through Portico.
Race Equality Teaching focuses on education and race in culturally and linguistically diverse Britain, reflecting on developments in educational and social policy and in classroom practice. Although primarily about Britain, the journal includes contributions from across the world. The final volume was published in June 2018.
The International Journal on School Disaffection is a peer-reviewed journal about influences and outcomes relating to school disengagement, low attainment, and early school leaving. The final volume was published in December 2016.
The key data about the triggered titles, including the stable URLs, is available for download (xls).
Portico ensures ongoing access to content that is no longer available through its original publisher or a successor. To date, we have triggered 140 items, 116 of them Open Access. A full list of triggered content is available to view or download. Learn how to manage access to triggered content.
